| What led us to open up an outdoor gear rental shop was the simple fact that purchasing all the essential gear needed for outdoor enjoyment can be confusing & expensive your first few times out. We love introducing people to the outdoors, so by offering rental equipment at a decent rate, we're giving you the opportunity to get outdoors with the correct gear and know how without breaking the bank! What makes Basecamp Rentals stand out from other rental shops is they charge their customers on a nightly basis. This really doesn't give you enough time to get to know the gear. We're able to deliver your rental gear a few days in advance (when available). This gives you the opportunity to try out and sort out any problems before your trip. There's also no rush to get it back to us at No additional cost. We have a variety of sizes from weekend to extended trip packs, and also women and kids packs. TENTS Our selection of tents include 1, 2, 4 & 6 person tents, 3 and 4 season tents, and also light and fast tents. SLEEPING BAGS All our sleeping bags are goose down and rang from 0'F winter bags, to 15'F 3 season bags. We also carry 15'F lightweight bags. SLEEPING PADS Ridgerest pads, THERM-A-REST Z-LIGHT pads and SELF-INFLATING pads. BEAR CANISTERS We carry the new BEAR VAULT, which weights 2 lbs 7 oz, holds up to 7 days of food.
